Fluke was born in the U.S., in the 50s, as an electrical metering equipment manufacturer.
Since its inception, the company has been focused on the development of innovative measuring instruments for a number of industrial applications, gaining a leadership position in the portable devices market.
In 1998, Fluke has been acquired by Danaher, which then gave birth to Fortive.
Fluke is now composed by three BUs: Fluke Networks (from 2000, a standalone division) more oriented on data communication and integrated solutions, Fluke Biomedical, focused on products for biomedical test and simulation, and Fluke Calibration, one of the world’s leading manufacturer of products for electrical, temperature and pressure/flow calibration.
Fluke best-selling products include calibration instruments, multimeters, clamp meters and portable testers.
