FANUC was founded in 1956 by Seiuemon Inaba, the developer of the first numerical control (NC).
Since then, the Japanese company has been a pioneer in the automation sector, growing to become one of the industry’s most innovative and respected players and setting the benchmark for industrial robotics.
In 1959, FANUC developed the first industrial electrical pulse hydraulic motors and, in 1972, the first computer numerical control (CNC).
In 2003, the company started to produce intelligent robots, becoming, in the 2010s, global leader in factory automation manufacturing.
FANUC’s best-selling products include CNC systems, servo motors, spindle motors, power supply modules and PLCs/PMCs.
