Motors The family of permanent magnet motors manufactured by Danaher Motion offers an extremely wide variety of size and package types. From frameless pancake motors to high acceleration housed/shafted motors, Danaher Motion offers the most complete range of high performance motors available today. When you combine our vast selection of motors with our family of high performance servo or stepper drives, we can satisfy your most demanding application requirements and "Help you build a better machine, faster." Brushless Motors Danaher Motion's brushless servomotors are designed to operate over a broad range of speeds and have the advantage of reduced maintenance since there are no brushes or commutators. DC brushless motors offer superior performance with our highest torque/inertia ratio and high speed capability of up to 8,000 rpm for standard designs (up to 70,000 rpm for special designs). Our linear brushless motors can exceed 10 m/s. Stepper Motors Our high-performance, brushless, maintenance-free step motors provide very precise, extremely cost-effective, motion control. These 2 phase step motors inherently move in small, very precise, 1.8° increments (200/revolution). This stepping action is simple to control and does not require complicated, expensive feedback devices. Drives Danaher Motion has a complete set of drives that offer advanced control technology along with compact packaging and simplified commissioning. Choose from a wide selection of AC servo, DC servo, adjustable speed drives, stepper, and OEM/custom drive products, all available in a wide range of voltage and power ranges. AC Servo Drives Our AC servo drives are designed to complement our wide range of rotary and linear three phase brushless servomotors and offer the broadest connectivity available in the global marketplace today. These drives bring you advanced control technology along with compact packaging and simplified commissioning. DC Servo Drives Danaher Motion has a long history of providing DC servo drives from brand names such as Pacific Scientific, Kollmorgen and IDC to compliment our wide range of DC servomotors. Adjustable Speed Drives Our family of Seco and Acomel adjustable speed drives accommodate a wide range of AC and DC motor types and power ratings. Many provide options for running open or closed loop depending on the degree of control required. Torque and velocity modes are offered and some models include position control. Whether your application need is from a few hundred watts (fractional HP) to hundreds of kilowatts (hundreds of HP), Danaher Motion has a drive to meet your toughest application requirement. Stepper Drives Our wide range of step motor drives include the well-known brand names of Pacific Scientific, Superior Electric and IDC.
