Remote system on the robot gripper
The robot has become indispensable in precise loading and unloading of parts in machining centres. Fast, dynamic movement of the gripper on the robot require however high flexibility and mechanical resistance of the cable lines. Fixed cabling at such a location is not always practical. The solution is a non-contacting Power Remote System. The Radial Power Remote system is installed at the interface between the robot arm and gripper. The energy for powering the sensors and the information sent from the sensors are transmitted inductively. Reliable transmission is assured both while the gripper is moving and when it is stopped.
